Bayer Leverkusen rejects transfer offer for Jarell Quansah. The 23-year-old defender is not for sale. Quansah joined Bayer Leverkusen last summer for 35 million euros and immediately became a regular starter.
Bayer Leverkusen informed the Premier League club that Quansah is not for sale. The Bundesliga team currently ranks 6th in the league with 59 points from 34 games and a recent form of DLWWL.
Quansah fits Arsenal's requirements as he can play both in central defense and on the right side of the defense. The English team had a buy-back option of 60 or 70 million euros this summer, which was not exercised.
Bayer Leverkusen will continue to build on the 23-year-old defender in the upcoming season. Quansah made 44 appearances last season and scored five goals. The Gunners are urgently looking for reinforcements in defense due to the injury-related absences of William Saliba and Jurrien Timber.
